After 19 Days of Closure.. Occupation Reopens Rafah Crossing
SadaNews - This morning, Thursday, the Rafah border crossing in southern Gaza Strip was reopened for a group of humanitarian cases including patients and their companions, as well as the return of those stranded.
The official agency reported that a new batch of humanitarian cases, consisting of a small number of patients and their companions, left from the Red Crescent Society in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, after preparing them and verifying their documents and official papers, heading towards the departure hall at the Rafah crossing to continue their treatment in Egyptian hospitals.
The occupation forces had closed the Rafah crossing, which operates partially for a limited number of humanitarian cases in both directions since February 28, following the outbreak of the Israeli-American war against Iran.
It is worth noting that the number of travelers to and from the Gaza Strip since the reopening of the Rafah crossing does not exceed 700, despite the need for about 18,500 patients and injured individuals to receive treatment abroad.
