What is the Death Toll in the US-Israeli War on Iran as of Today?

SadaNews - The war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28 has left thousands dead in several countries affected by the conflict.

Here is the latest update on the war's death toll recorded until this Wednesday, based on reports from "Reuters":

Iran

The Iran Human Rights Activists News Agency, based in the United States, reported that 3,099 people have been killed so far, including 1,351 civilians, of whom 207 are children.

The agency explained that it gathers its data from field reports, local, medical, and relief sources, civil society organizations, open-source materials, and official data when necessary.

The latest reports released by state media last week indicated that 1,270 people had been killed, but Iran's ambassador to the United Nations stated on March 6 that at least 1,332 had died due to the war.

It remains unclear whether these figures include at least 104 that the Iranian military reported as casualties after a U.S. submarine sank an Iranian warship off the coast of Sri Lanka on March 4.

Lebanon

Health authorities announced that at least 912 have been killed in Israeli airstrikes since March 2.
