SadaNews - Israeli media reported this morning that shrapnel from rockets fell in several areas in central Israel, resulting in two people sustaining minor injuries in the city of Shoham, east of Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. Sources confirmed that the shrapnel fell in five different locations, some of which were in open areas near sensitive sites.
Israeli radio stated that rocket shrapnel fell in the city of Rishon Lezion south of Tel Aviv, as well as in the area of Lod, while other reports indicated suspicion of direct damage to a building in Shoham. Channel 12 of Israel clarified that Iran had used a missile with a fragmentation warhead against Israeli areas a short while ago.
For its part, the Israeli army radio quoted a military source stating that one of the Iranian rockets fell in the greater Tel Aviv area.
