Syria: Appointment of the Commander of the 'Kurdish Units' as Deputy Minister of Defense for Eastern Regions
SadaNews - The spokesman for the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that the commander of the "People's Protection Units" (YPG), Sipan Hamo, has been appointed as the Deputy Minister for Eastern Regions of the country.
This step falls within the framework of implementing the integration agreement mediated by the United States, signed on January 29 between the commander of the "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, and Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara.
