Syria: 4 Killed in Suwayda Due to Iranian Missile Strike
SadaNews - Four people were killed today, Saturday, due to an Iranian missile hitting a building in the city of Suwayda in southern Syria, according to the Syrian official news agency (SANA).
SANA reported, citing the media department in Suwayda province, that "four were killed and several others injured due to an Iranian missile striking a building in the industrial area within the city of Suwayda as a result of the exchanges of fire between Israel and Iran," following the announcement of a partial and temporary closure of airspace in southern Syria.
This comes after the American-Israeli attack on Iran, which retaliated by launching missiles at various areas in Israel and several Gulf countries.
It is noteworthy that these developments occurred while both the American and Iranian sides were expected to hold a new round of nuclear talks next week, despite U.S. President Donald Trump's expression of dissatisfaction with the course of the talks, which have seen three rounds held in the past period.
Additionally, it is mentioned that Trump has frequently threatened military action recently, while Tehran vowed to respond decisively to any American or Israeli attack.
