Netanyahu Uses Biblical Terms for Israeli Control Through a New Axis Being Built in the Region

SadaNews Translation - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed on Tuesday his full confidence in the head of the General Security Service "Shabak" David Zini, and in the entire system of the agency.

Netanyahu described Zini, after the case involving his brother for smuggling goods to Gaza, as an important leader who is changing reality. SadaNews translated his statements during his visit to the "Shabak" headquarters.

Netanyahu repeated his statements that Israel has a significant interest in creating its own axis, which is an axis for countries that oppose both the Shiite axis and the Sunni axis of the Muslim Brotherhood.

He indicated that some of the countries that will join the axis Israel is building are visiting it these days, while others are visited by Israeli delegations.

Netanyahu said: I'm talking about a complete circle that includes the Middle East, using a biblical expression "from India to Cush". (This is a new strategic axis that Israel seeks to build, linking its influence from the Indian Ocean (India) through the Red Sea to the Horn of Africa (Cush/Somaliland), aiming to secure trade routes, curb Turkish expansion, and establish a new geopolitical balance). This is how it is defined in Israel.

Netanyahu added: This is very close, and there is what connects them to the Mediterranean Sea.

Regarding the Gaza Strip, Netanyahu stated that his forces have rescued all Israeli captives in the sector, and now is the time to complete the mission.

He expressed his support for the "Peace Council" position that Hamas should be disarmed, either through easy or difficult means, but it must happen to ensure that Gaza does not pose a threat to Israel.

The Israeli Prime Minister said: There is only one force that can guarantee that, and that is of course that the increasing security responsibility will be ours.

Regarding the situation in the West Bank, Netanyahu stated that the operation carried out in the West Bank camps was not less than a warning; it aimed to uproot "centers of weight for terrorism", as he described.

He added, as SadaNews translated: "I don't think that the citizens of Israel realize how many lives your operations have saved... many".

Concerning the crimes among Palestinians inside Israel, he said: There are hundreds of thousands of illegal weapons, and this stockpile must be reduced, and it must be taken because a stormy day may come... We always talk about the exchange of guns here and there, from both sides, and our great mission is to disarm that.
