Israel Raises Alert Level Awaiting US Warning Before Attack on Iran
SadaNews: The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that Tel Aviv will not disclose details about the expected early US warning before any attack on Iran, in order to avoid leaks that could hinder the operation.
The authority confirmed that the Israeli security system has raised its alert level along the border with Lebanon, fearing a potential confrontation with Hezbollah, amid secret preparations being conducted by security agencies during this time.
For its part, Ma’ariv newspaper quoted a military source stating that Washington will issue an early warning to Israel before carrying out the attack on Iran, and afterward, the instructions for the home front will be adjusted according to developments.
The source explained that the Israeli army has been in a state of maximum readiness for about a month, and the level of preparedness is rising day by day.
The military source indicated that the Israeli army has developed plans to deal with the Lebanese front, including the option of launching a wide preemptive attack against Hezbollah, in the event of escalating tensions on the northern border.
