Israel demolishes residential building in Hebron housing more than 40 people
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces demolished a habited residential building in the city of Hebron on Wednesday.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Harayeq area adjacent to the "Hajai" settlement, which is built on citizens' lands south of Hebron, and demolished a residential building belonging to the Salhab family using bulldozers.
Citizen Mohammed Salhab told the official agency that the occupation forces forced them to evacuate their homes in a residential building consisting of two adjacent buildings; the first has three floors containing 6 residential apartments, while the second has two floors with 4 apartments, housing him and his brothers and accommodating more than 40 individuals, before they started demolishing it with bulldozers.
He confirmed that the demolition process is being carried out despite their possession of all legal documents, including a "taboo" proving their ownership of the area, and their objections to the demolition orders in the occupation court.
