Central Elections Commission: The Commission is the official and sole source of information related to the electoral process
SadaNews - The Central Elections Commission confirmed today that all information and news related to the progress of the electoral process, including legal procedures, adopted decisions, and timelines, are exclusively issued by the Commission and its official representatives. It emphasized that any information circulated outside these channels cannot be trusted for accuracy.
The Commission clarified in its statement that all official data is published directly through its website (www.elections.ps) and its verified digital platforms, in addition to being sent as press releases from the official email to the media and journalists. It noted that all laws and procedures regulating the electoral process are available to the public to ensure the highest levels of transparency.
In this context, the Commission urged the public to verify accuracy and rely only on professional and trusted media outlets that convey information professionally and host well-known analysts to comment on the electoral procedures, avoiding following unknown pages or unofficial sources that may mislead public opinion with interpretations issued without knowledge of the law and procedures. It also called for direct communication with it via its platforms or by visiting the Commission’s headquarters or the offices of the electoral departments in various governorates.
The Commission also highlighted the availability of interactive digital tools, including the artificial intelligence assistant "Nazih," to answer citizens' inquiries and provide accurate information quickly and easily, ensuring that everyone is clearly informed about the progress of the electoral process.
