Vice President Visits Preventive Security Service (Photos)

SadaNews: The Vice President of the State of Palestine, Hussein al-Sheikh, visited the headquarters of the Preventive Security Service in Ramallah today, Sunday, in the presence of the Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Dr. Laila Ghannam. He was received by the Director General of the service, Major General Iyad al-Aqa'a "Abu al-Fattah," along with a number of senior officers and department directors. During the meeting, al-Sheikh expressed his great pride in the professional and national capabilities of the Palestinian security apparatus staff, particularly the Preventive Security Service, appreciating its integrated and responsible role in maintaining security and safety, protecting civil peace, and enhancing stability for citizens amid current challenges. The Vice President affirmed the importance of implementing the law fairly and decisively, in accordance with respect for human rights and preserving the dignity of the Palestinian citizen, stressing that the rule of law constitutes a fundamental pillar in building the state and enhancing trust between citizens and their national institutions. For his part, Major General al-Aqa welcomed this visit, expressing his happiness and pride in the Palestinian leadership's interest and follow-up on the performance of the Preventive Security Service, and updating the Vice President on the most prominent achievements and efforts made by the service in the context of its national and professional tasks, affirming the full commitment of the service to the directives of the political leadership and serving our people in accordance with the law while preserving their security and dignity.
