Rafah Crossing Opened for Fifth Batch Departure and Return of Stranded Individuals
SadaNews - This morning, Sunday, the Rafah border crossing in the south of the Gaza Strip was opened for the departure of patients, humanitarian cases, and the return of those stranded from the Egyptian side.
Local sources reported that the fifth batch of patients and humanitarian cases has departed through the crossing, after being prepared at the Red Crescent Society, with representatives from the World Health Organization present, to receive treatment in hospitals outside the Gaza Strip.
It was confirmed that the fifth batch of individuals stranded in Egypt has arrived at the Egyptian hall of the crossing, in preparation for their entry into the Gaza Strip.
Since its reopening last Monday, the Rafah crossing has seen the departure of 145 patients and companions, and the arrival of 98 citizens from those stranded.
