Injuries and Arrests in Israeli Raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem

SadaNews - Six citizens were injured this evening, Tuesday, during an incursion by Israeli occupation forces into Jericho city.

Local sources reported that three young men were injured by live fire during clashes with the occupation forces that raided Jericho city, while a woman was injured after being run over by those forces.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that its crews dealt with two injuries of young men who were beaten by occupation forces during clashes in the "Katif al-Wad" neighborhood within Jericho city, and provided them with first aid.

According to those sources, the occupation forces raided a house on Palestine Street in the city center, and the soldiers physically assaulted the homeowners, resulting in the injury of the two young men.

Additionally, a number of citizens suffered from suffocation during the incursion of Israeli occupation forces into the Al-Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron.

Local sources stated that the occupation forces invaded the camp, searched several homes, and launched toxic gas heavily, causing several residents to suffer from suffocation, and forced shop owners to close their stores.

The Israeli occupation forces also raided the town of Tekoa southeast of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces invaded Tekoa and positioned themselves around the municipality at the western entrance, leading to clashes, during which the soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas grenades and sound bombs, but no injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, other forces arrested a young man from the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem.

The Governor of Jerusalem reported that the occupation forces raided the Ein al-Lawza neighborhood in the town of Silwan and arrested the young man Mahdi Amin al-Abbasi.
