A Report Reveals Trump's 5 Demands from Iran.. Potential Scenarios for Rejection

SadaNews: On Monday, Maariv reported that Israeli military leaders held intensive talks in Washington with the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, as part of a security coordination aimed at clarifying the implications of any potential attack on Iran, at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump is pressuring Tehran to comply with what have been described as "strict" demands.

According to the report, Eyal Zamir headed a high-ranking military delegation to Washington, which included the appointed commander of the Air Force, Major General Omar Tishler, and the head of the Planning Department, General Hadi Silberman, where the delegation met with U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Dan Keen.

Israeli sources told the newspaper that Tel Aviv sought during the meetings to clarify the "consequences of a military strike on Iran or refraining from one", and also provided recent intelligence, amidst rising tensions with Tehran.

Trump's Five Demands

Maariv quoted an Israeli source saying that President Trump is demanding five main conditions from Iran, which are:

- Delivery of approximately 400 kilograms of enriched uranium.

- Dismantling the nuclear program.

- Dismantling ballistic missiles.

- Halting the missile program.

- Ending support for proxies in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon.

The source added that Israel understands Iran will not be willing to discuss these demands collectively or individually, considering that the current phase is characterized by "stalling".

Decision Scenarios

According to the newspaper, Washington is considering only two options: either proceeding with a military confrontation, or retreating which may turn the threat into mere "verbal escalation".

There is a prevailing sense of anticipation regarding the motives behind the delay in decision-making, whether it is the need to mobilize additional forces or a diplomatic maneuver to justify a subsequent military action.

Israeli Concerns

Israeli sources warned that any last-minute U.S. retreat could lead to a "more dangerous situation" in the Middle East, enhancing Iran's and its proxies' influence, including Hezbollah and the Houthis, and entrenching Tehran as a "major source of global terrorism".

The report concluded by noting that Israel sees the current phase as a "critical opportunity" to reshape the balance of power, considering the visits of generals to Washington as part of the effort to influence the U.S. decision prior to the moment of truth.
