Egypt Condemns Repeated Israeli Violations of the Ceasefire in Gaza
SadaNews - The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Saturday the repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which have led to the killing of more than 32 Palestinians since last night, warning of undermining efforts to stabilize the truce.
The ministry emphasized in a statement that the Israeli violations pose a direct threat to the political path in the efforts aimed at resolving the conflict in the region, at a time when regional and international parties are coming together to succeed in the second phase of U.S. President Donald Trump's peace plan for Gaza.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry urged all parties in its statement to adhere to their responsibilities and to exercise the utmost restraint to maintain the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Earlier on Saturday, Palestinian media reported an increase in the number of casualties from Israeli shelling in various areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn to 32, most of whom were women and children.
