Al-Quds House of Money Agency Implements the Second Phase of the "Warm Winter" Campaign for 120 Bedouin Families Southeast of Jerusalem

SadaNews - The Al-Quds House of Money Agency implemented today, Wednesday, the second phase of the "Warm Winter" campaign in Jerusalem, benefiting 120 families distributed across 12 Bedouin communities in the southeast of Jerusalem Governorate.

The campaign included reinforcing the roofs of rural houses in open elevated areas that are affected by weather disturbances, as well as distributing blankets, bedding, heaters, and winter clothing.

In this regard, acting Director General of Public Affairs in Jerusalem Governorate, Inam Abu Zaiter, expressed her appreciation to the Al-Quds House of Money Agency for the generous initiative to provide housing equipment in the village communities southeast of Jerusalem as part of the "Warm Winter" campaign.

Abu Zaiter clarified that the campaign targeted 120 families in 12 communities, including the Khalail community, and includes residents of Sawahra Al-Falahin in the Sawahra wilderness and the Arab Jahalins Bedouins in the Al-Muntar community, emphasizing that this project contributes to "strengthening the resilience of citizens on their land".

For his part, Abdullah Al-Zuhayka, head of the Arab Sawahra community, expressed his deep gratitude to King Mohammed VI of Morocco, the Chairman of the Jerusalem Committee, for the support provided to the community, which included bedding, pillows, blankets, carpets, and tents to assist families in improving their living conditions during the cold winter season.

Al-Zuhayka expressed his appreciation for this new support, which will contribute to "relieving the suffering of needy families in the area".

Meanwhile, Ziyad Abu Zaiter, a resident of the Khalail Al-Muntar community, underscored the importance of these generous donations from the Al-Quds House of Money, which have contributed to "alleviating the suffering of 38 families, enhancing their resilience on their land, and improving their living conditions".

In turn, Muhammad Al-Hithalin, a representative of the Bedouin Al-Muntar community, praised the efforts carried out by the Al-Quds House of Money "to deliver aid to the residents, supporting and standing by the community and its inhabitants".

Al-Hithalin confirmed that this assistance contributes to "relieving the suffering of families who are in dire need of these essential items, especially in the harsh cold conditions".
