Warning Against the Displacement of Gazans and the Liquidation of the Cause.. Sisi: We are Making Efforts to Establish Peace in the Region
SadaNews - On Saturday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi stated that the ceasefire in Gaza is a living testament to the efforts made by Egypt to establish peace and stability, emphasizing that the state is vigorously pushing for the full implementation of the agreement and thwarting any attempts to circumvent it.
During his speech at the celebration of the 74th anniversary of Police Day at the Conference Center of the Police Academy in New Cairo, he praised the significant effort made by U.S. President Donald Trump in this regard.
He reiterated the necessity of not obstructing humanitarian aid directed to the people of Gaza, the complete implementation of the second phase of the agreement, and the immediate start of the reconstruction of the sector.
He called for an end to the systematic practices against the Palestinian people in their occupied land and rejected their displacement from their homeland.
He added, "I warn against the potential displacement of two and a half million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, which would mean the liquidation of the cause, leading to the migration of thousands to Europe, with severe security, economic, and social repercussions that no one can bear."
He expressed Egypt's firm rejection of any efforts to partition the countries in the region or to create entities and militias parallel to national and legitimate armies and institutions.
