Translation by SadaNews - On Thursday evening, the Israeli army published the results of its operations over the past year in the Jenin and Tulkarem camps as part of what is known as "Operation Iron Wall".
According to a statement from the Israeli army, as translated by SadaNews, 240 militants were eliminated, nearly 3,500 were arrested, and more than 1,300 weapons were seized.
It noted that its forces destroyed more than 50 infrastructures of armed groups and eliminated weaponry and buildings that were used by those groups to carry out armed activities against Israel.
It stated: Since the beginning of the operation, the Israeli army forces have been working proactively, continuously, and unprecedentedly in the heart of the camps in the northern West Bank, while maintaining full freedom of movement and operational control in the area.
It added: As part of this activity, the armed groups that were operating in the camps have been disbanded, numerous attack attempts have been thwarted, and the command, control, and operational capacity of those groups have been significantly damaged.
It continued: The structural operations carried out as part of this operation aim to prevent the re-establishment of those groups in the camps and are still ongoing today as needed for security purposes.
