Trump Signs Founding Charter of the "Peace Council" in Davos
SadaNews: On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump signed the charter of the "Peace Council" during a meeting that included leaders of the countries that have recently joined the council.
Trump stated in a speech during the Davos Forum that he is taking the issue of forming the "Peace Council" seriously, considering that there is an "opportunity for peace".
The U.S. President pointed out that his administration has ended the long-standing war in the Gaza Strip and succeeded in achieving a ceasefire.
He added that the United States is seeking to resolve conflicts that have lasted for more than 35 years, emphasizing that the goal is to prevent the outbreak of new wars and to enhance stability.
Trump thanked the leaders of the countries that accepted to join the "Peace Council", expressing his appreciation for their support and participation in this initiative.
