Sources Reveal to "SadaNews": Names of Palestinian Figures to Join the Technocrat Committee to Govern Gaza
Exclusive to SadaNews - Palestinian sources confirmed on Tuesday evening that some public figures have been notified of their nomination to be part of the technocrat committee that will govern the Gaza Strip.
According to the sources speaking to "SadaNews", the travel of the figures primarily located in the Gaza Strip will begin on Wednesday to the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The sources indicated that Ali Shath, a former official in the Palestinian Authority, is a strong candidate to be the head of the committee.
Among the names identified to join the committee are: Amjad Al-Shawa, head of the Network of Non-Governmental Organizations, Aied Abu Ramadan, director of the Gaza Chamber of Commerce, businessman Mohamed Al-Khuzendar, along with Aied Yaghi, and Omar Shamali, regional director of a telecommunications company in Gaza, as the sources reveal to "SadaNews".
The sources pointed out that there has not been complete consensus on these names along with other figures proposed to join the same position.
They mentioned that many factional delegations are present in Cairo, coordinating with Egyptian officials regarding the formation of the committee that will manage the sector.
