A New Device That Takes Care of Recording and Summarizing Your Meetings with Artificial Intelligence

SadaNews - Soundcore, the audio arm of Anker, revealed a new AI-powered voice recorder called Work at the CES 2026 exhibition, targeting professionals and students seeking a practical solution for recording meetings and lectures without relying on phones or note-taking apps.

Small Design and Non-Intrusive Presence

The Soundcore Work device is about the size of a coin, with a slightly thicker design, allowing it to be worn or used in several ways; whether clipped to clothing, attached to magnetic surfaces, or even worn as a necklace.

The goal, according to the company, is to make recording natural and unobtrusive during meetings or official interviews.

Advanced Technology Despite Its Size

Despite its small size, the device relies on a dual microphone system capable of capturing clear sound from different parts of the room.

Soundcore confirms that this high quality contributes to achieving a transcription accuracy of up to 97%.

Through the accompanying app, users receive a complete text of the recording along with a smart summary highlighting the important points, saving a significant amount of time in reviewing lengthy meetings.

Smart Feature to Identify Important Moments

One of the device's standout features is the double-click function, where users can click twice on the device upon hearing important information, allowing the AI to prioritize this part in the transcription and summary, providing a practical solution to the problem of manually searching within lengthy recordings.

Privacy and Security

The Soundcore Work relies on a physical button to start and stop recording, with indicator lights and a light vibration for confirmation, giving the user clear control.

In terms of security, the device supports AES-256 encryption and is certified by Apple via MFi, ensuring that sensitive recordings remain on the device without uploading them to untrusted servers.

Smart Charging Case and Find My Support

The device comes with a slim charging case featuring a USB-C port, with a magnetic back allowing it to be attached to MagSafe or Qi2 phones.

The device also supports Apple Find My service to track its location in case of loss, which is an important feature given its small size, with currently no similar support for Android devices.

Price and Availability

The Soundcore Work is available for $159 starting today.

Although it does not introduce a completely new concept, it bets on simplicity, small size, and artificial intelligence to make meeting recording easier and more efficient. The biggest challenge remains expanding Android support to make it a practical option for a broader user base.
