Land Authority Seizes Encroachment on State Property in Jenin

SadaNews - Today, Sunday, teams from the State Property Authority and security forces executed an operation to seize an encroachment on state-owned land in the town of Qabatiya, Jenin Governorate.

The encroachment involved land leveling and the extraction of natural stone. The operation was carried out in cooperation and coordination with the Jenin Governorate, relevant security agencies, and the public prosecution.

The campaign resulted in the seizure of the encroachment site and the arrest of the violator in preparation for taking the necessary legal actions against him in accordance with the regulations.

The Palestinian Land Authority reiterated its commitment not to "tolerate" cases of encroachment on state lands, emphasizing the protection of public funds and monitoring violators. For his part, the Director of State Property in Jenin, Eng. Imad Al-Zagha, called for the urgent removal of all encroachments on state lands, warning that legal actions will be taken against all violators of state property.

It is worth noting that these efforts come under direct instructions from the Head of the Land Authority, Minister Alaa Al-Tamimi, and fall within the government's aims to safeguard state properties and utilize them for the public interest, benefiting citizens directly.
