SadaNews - The Palestinian Meteorological Department has forecast that the country will be affected today, Thursday, by a low pressure system, leading to partially cloudy to overcast and cold to very cold weather, with a decrease in temperatures. Starting from the morning hours, rain is expected, God willing, over the northern regions gradually extending to the rest of the areas. The rain will be heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail, with southwestern to western winds active at times, gusts may reach around 50 km/h, and the sea will be choppy.

In the evening and at night: The effect of the low pressure system will deepen in the country, making the weather stormy, rainy, and extremely cold, especially in mountainous areas, where rain is expected, God willing, over most regions, which will be heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail. The winds will be from the west to the northwest, active at times with gusts that may reach around 50 km/h, and the sea will be choppy.

Tomorrow, Thursday, the weather will be cloudy to partially cloudy and cold to very cold, and there will still be a chance until the evening hours for scattered rain showers in some areas. The winds will be from the west to the northwest, moderate to active in speed, and the sea will be of moderate wave height to choppy.

Saturday: The weather will be clear and cold to very cold, with a slight rise in temperatures. The winds will be from the northeast to the east, light to moderate in speed, and the sea will have slight wave height.

It is anticipated that the weather on the upcoming Sunday will be partially cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold, with a slight further increase in temperatures. The winds will be from the east, moderate to active in speed, and the sea will have slight wave height.

The Meteorological Department has warned citizens during Thursday and Friday of the risk of flash floods and floods in valleys and low-lying areas due to heavy rainfall, strong wind speeds, the risk of slipping on roads, and low horizontal visibility.
