Civil Defense Responds to 115 Rescue and Fire Incidents in the Past 11 Hours
SadaNews - During the past 11 hours, Civil Defense crews have dealt with all incidents recorded, totaling 115 incidents of fire and rescue across various governorates due to the weather conditions.
The report indicated that the incidents were distributed as follows: 109 rescue incidents and 6 fire incidents, which included extinguishing two fires in homes in Hebron Governorate, in addition to two fires in vehicles.
The rescue incidents involved draining rainwater from inside homes and shops, removing obstacles from roads, and reopening main roads that were closed due to water accumulation. The crews also responded to a traffic accident in the town of Al-Ram, resulting in three moderate injuries.
Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate recorded the highest number of incidents with 50, followed by Hebron Governorate with 22 incidents, while the remaining incidents were spread across several other governorates.
The Civil Defense confirmed the readiness of its crews and their continuous operation around the clock to handle any emergencies, urging citizens to exercise caution and follow safety guidelines during weather disturbances and traffic accidents.
