Katz: Israel Will Establish Settlements in Northern Gaza Strip
SadaNews - Israeli Minister of Security, Israel Katz, said today, Tuesday, that Israel will establish settlements, which he described as "Nahal nuclei," in the northern Gaza Strip "when the time comes, and in the appropriate manner."
Katz's remarks came during a ceremony for the construction of 1,200 housing units in the settlement of "Bet El" near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
Katz considered that "we are deep inside Gaza and we will never leave all of Gaza; such a thing will not happen. We are here to defend and prevent what happened."
He continued, "We are present in Lebanon, in Syria, at the summit of Mount Hermon in the security zone, and inside the camps of terrorism in the West Bank."
Katz added that "the Israeli army separates between jihadist enemies and our settlements and our residents. We do not rely on anyone, and let no one tell stories about us, there will be no agreements, and we will not move an inch in Syria."
