Russian Defense Ministry Announces Liberation of a New Town in Dnipro-Petrovsk Oblast

SadaNews - The Russian defense ministry reported today, Monday, that units of the "East" group of forces liberated the town of Bishanovoye in Dnipro-Petrovsk Oblast, following their control of the town of Varvarovka in Zaporizhzhia yesterday.

The Russian defense ministry added in its daily report that units of the "West" group of forces continued to eliminate the enemy forces surrounded on the left bank of the Oskol River in Kharkiv.

In turn, units of the "Center" group of forces continued to eliminate the surrounded Ukrainian group in the city of Dmitrov (Myronhrad) in Donetsk, as well as clearing the towns of Svitlyoye, Grishino, and Rodinckoye located in Donetsk from scattered formations of Ukrainian forces.

The report revealed that the total losses of the Ukrainian army over the last 24 hours amounted to about 1,480 soldiers, with Ukraine losing:

More than 270 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the Russian "North" group of forces in Sumy and Kharkiv

More than 220 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the "West" group of forces in Kharkiv and Donetsk

About 195 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the "South" forces in Donetsk

More than 490 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the "Center" forces in Donetsk and Dnipro-Petrovsk

More than 240 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the "East" forces in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro-Petrovsk

About 65 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the "Dnipro" forces in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson

Russian forces' fire targeted facilities for transport infrastructure used to deliver Western arms to Ukraine, fuel and ammunition depots, in addition to temporary deployment points for Ukrainian army forces and foreign mercenaries in 167 areas.

The Russian air defenses shot down a tactical operational missile of the type "Grom-2", 17 shells from "HIMARS" rocket launchers, and 545 hostile drones over the last 24 hours.
