10 Stars Facing Serious Health Crises

SadaNews - Some names of Egyptian stars have topped search engines across various social media platforms due to their struggles with serious health issues in recent times, leading some to enter the intensive care unit.

Ten stars are suffering from different health problems, with some revealing the details while others prefer to remain silent about their conditions.

Starting with actor and screenwriter Tarek El Amir, who faced a severe health crisis, going into a complete coma and is currently in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Egypt.

His heart stopped three times

A close source indicated in previous statements that the health crisis stemmed from heart artery failure.

Additionally, it was mentioned that his condition deteriorated significantly, as his heart stopped three consecutive times, one of which lasted more than 15 minutes before he was revived. However, he has regained full consciousness and is now on ventilators in the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Cairo.

Similarly, artist Jalila Mahmoud recently suffered a sudden health crisis, experiencing difficulty in breathing and fainting, necessitating her transfer to the hospital, where doctors subsequently decided to put her on ventilators in the intensive care unit.

Multiple sclerosis

Close friends of Mahmoud's family revealed that her condition is unstable and requires intensive medical care until her health improves.

Furthermore, the health condition of Egyptian artist Amr Mohammed Ali has deteriorated over the past few days, as he remains at home with his mother and brother, receiving the treatment prescribed by his doctors. He has been suffering from multiple sclerosis since 2006, a condition that affects movement and speech, requiring costly home treatment, and he is expected to go to the hospital for a comprehensive medical examination in January.

Major surgery

As for artist Ahmed Fouad Selim, he experienced a critical health crisis due to an issue with his aorta, confirming that his medical condition necessitated urgent surgical intervention. He explained in press statements that he faced an expansion in the artery that reached a stage of leakage, and while it was supposed to undergo major surgery requiring an open chest, doctors managed to perform an alternative intervention involving the implantation of two stents and the insertion of an internal artery into the aorta, noting that the surgery was significant and successful, thank God.

Herniated disc and fractures

Meanwhile, artist Najwa Fouad remains bedridden at home after undergoing delicate spinal surgery due to a herniated disc in some lumbar vertebrae. This crisis has also affected her ability to walk properly, in addition to suffering from a fracture in her arm and shoulder due to a fall.

Among the stars facing health crises during this period is artist Abdullah Moshref, who recently suffered multiple clots in his legs and hands, causing him difficulty in moving. He is still bedridden at home under his family's care and occasionally visits the hospital for treatment.

Abdullah Moshref and Yousra El Lozy

Similar to Abdullah Moshref, artist Diaa El Mirghani is facing many health issues that have kept him away from the artistic scene, frequently staying at home and only going out with his son for treatment at a hospital.

Just hours before the premiere of the play "Al-Morstaan" at the "Al-Falaki" theater in downtown Cairo, Egyptian artist Yousra El Lozy experienced a sudden illness that kept her from attending the show, where she was replaced by another artist, with the expectation that she will return to the theatrical performance once her health improves.

However, she has not disclosed details about her illness yet.

Tamer Hosny and Mohamed Mounir

Tamer Hosny was among the stars who faced a serious health crisis recently, from which he has not yet recovered. He underwent delicate surgery to remove a tumor and part of his kidney in Berlin, Germany, and he continues to receive treatment at home while visiting a hospital regularly for medical follow-up.

Similarly, the situation for artist Mohamed Mounir, who suffers from kidney, liver, and lung health issues, is being monitored by a specialized medical team, as he also visits one of the private hospitals in Cairo from time to time for follow-up.
