Gaza.. Organizing the 'Warm Winter' Campaign for Palestinian Displaced Persons Funded by Moroccan Institutions
SadaNews - The "Irtiqa" Association for Community Development in Gaza has conducted the "Warm Winter" campaign for the benefit of certain groups of Palestinian displaced persons in the coastal area west of the Nuseirat camp, funded by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Ash-Sharif Agency and the Moroccan Association for Supporting Reconstruction in Palestine.
The campaign included the distribution of winter clothing, blankets, and plastic tarpaulins to improve the conditions of tents due to water seepage from the rain, resulting from ongoing weather depressions.
The beneficiary families welcomed this initiative and expressed their gratitude to the Moroccan King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people for their constant support and steadfast positions regarding the Palestinian issue.
In this context, the campaign coordinator, Zuhair Dardouna, stated that "the aid represents an important support for the resilience of a number of displaced persons in the difficult coastal area, given the harsh conditions."
Dardouna indicated that this initiative enhances "the prominent Moroccan presence in humanitarian relief directed to the Gaza Strip under the directives of the Moroccan King Mohammed VI," expressing the appreciation of the Palestinians for this "continuous Moroccan aid throughout the period of aggression."
