Occupation Storms Birzeit University: Assaults, Arrests, and Searches
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces stormed Birzeit University, north of Ramallah, at dawn on Tuesday, entering through three entrances and detaining its guards.
The university announced the postponement of academic and administrative hours until 9 AM, in order to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Hebrew media reported that the Israeli army raided Birzeit University in Ramallah last night, conducting searches for suspects and inciting materials, according to a translation by SadaNews.
Local sources confirmed that the occupation forces stormed several colleges during the raid on Birzeit University north of Ramallah, arresting four young men in the town of Birzeit concurrently with the incursion into the town and the university.
The occupation forces also assaulted members of the university security in Birzeit.
After several hours of the incursion, the occupation vehicles began to withdraw from the university campus.
