The People's Party Condemns the Ongoing Genocide in Gaza and Welcomes China's and France's Declaration of Support for Palestine

SadaNews - The Palestinian People's Party called for urgent international intervention to stop the ongoing Israeli violations and aggression against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, clearly indicating the continuation of the genocide that has been ongoing for two years.

The People's Party emphasized that the United States is evading its announced commitments to halt the ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip, and is even covering for them, including its failure to comply with the quantities and types of aid as per the agreement.
The party urged the guarantors of the agreement to exert more efforts to stop these violations and to present a report to the Security Council that clarifies this.

On another note, the People's Party welcomed the Chinese-French announcement condemning all violations of international humanitarian law, and emphasizing the need to provide humanitarian aid on a large scale under the supervision of the United Nations, especially UNRWA, and to ensure its rapid, safe, and sustainable delivery throughout the Gaza Strip without obstacles. They also stressed the importance of continuing to provide material and financial support to the Palestinian National Authority and to support the efforts of the members of the "Emergency Coalition for the Financial Sustainability of the Palestinian Authority."
The People's Party also appreciated the stance taken by Chinese President Xi Jinping during his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, where he reaffirmed his steadfast support for the Palestinian people, their just cause, and their legitimate rights to freedom, self-determination, and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The party stated that China and France can play an active role in implementing United Nations resolutions to end the occupation and achieve the independence and sovereignty of the State of Palestine as a basis for achieving the two-state solution. They can also enhance the pursuit and accountability for war crimes and genocide, in addition to actively supporting aid for the Palestinian people.
The party considered the unification of efforts between China and Russia, which were among the first countries to recognize the State of Palestine, and France along with other Security Council members, will have a significant impact on achieving peace and stability in the region. 6-12-20205
