Hebrew Sources: Elimination of the Perpetrator of the Car-ramming Attack Near Hebron

SadaNews: Channel 12 in Israel reported, citing security sources, that troops from the 202nd battalion of the Israeli occupation army eliminated the Palestinian who carried out the car-ramming attack north of Hebron.

The Israeli Army Radio stated: "After a chase... the perpetrator of the car-ramming was eliminated last night near Hebron, in which a female soldier was injured; the perpetrator attempted to ram over the troops that were chasing him and was eliminated inside his vehicle."

An Israeli female soldier was injured in the car-ramming incident that occurred shortly before midnight on Monday, near Halhul in occupied West Bank, as announced by the Israeli army, which stated at the time that it was pursuing the perpetrator who had fled the scene.

The Israeli army said in a statement, "Following a report of an incident (near Halhul), the (perpetrator) drove his car towards Israeli army forces, resulting in the injury of a female soldier from the Israeli army."

The Israeli army indicated that the female soldier "was transferred to the hospital for treatment," while Israeli reports stated that she was slightly injured.

Israeli occupation forces closed the northern entrances of Hebron on Monday evening with iron gates and military checkpoints.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces reinforced their presence at the northern entrances of Hebron city and closed the entrances to Ras al-Jora, Farsh al-Hawa, Halhul, Nabi Younis, and al-Hawwar with iron gates, military checkpoints, and concrete blocks, under the pretext of carrying out a car-ramming attack that resulted in the injury of a soldier in the occupation army.

The same sources confirmed that the Israeli army forces stormed the "Al-Ahli" hospital and the vicinity of the "Al-Mizan" hospital and the "Mohammed Ali Al-Muhtasib" hospital in Hebron city.
