Judgment Against Yasmeen Qaddoura from the Village of Nahf in the Occupied Interior for "Community Service"
SadaNews - Today, the Magistrate's Court in Haifa decided to impose a community service sentence of nine months and a fine of 3000 shekels on Yasmeen Qaddoura (36 years old) from the village of Nahf, after she was convicted on charges of "incitement to terrorism and expressing affiliation with a terrorist organization" following a post made via the "WhatsApp" application on October 7, 2023.
Qaddoura was arrested on October 18, 2023, under conditions described as harsh inside the prison, especially after it was discovered that she was pregnant days after her arrest. She has been under house arrest since January 14, 2024.
The court announced a 45-day postponement of the decision's implementation to allow the public prosecutor's office to file a potential appeal against the ruling.
