Israeli Sources Speak of Assassination of Wanted Man in Nablus

According to Channel 14 Hebrew, a unit from Yamam carried out a joint operation with the Israeli army in Nablus, during which they eliminated a Palestinian who carried out a car-ramming attack a year and a half ago, resulting in the death of settlers. He had surrendered to the Palestinian Authority at the time before escaping from its security apparatuses, as translated by SadaNews.

The Israeli army limited its statement to announcing a military activity in the eastern part of Nablus, noting that clashes occurred with armed individuals.

According to Palestinian sources, the occupation forces arrested at least one young man from a house they besieged after armed clashes in the area.

Violent confrontations erupted with the occupation forces following the incursion.

Local sources reported that military vehicles stormed the eastern part of the city, firing live ammunition heavily, as well as using flares, sound bombs, and tear gas, leading to confrontations in the east of the city, with the sound of explosions heard in the area.

The eastern area of Nablus city is subjected daily to repeated incursions by the occupation.
