SadaNews - Two citizens were injured today, Thursday, with head injuries as a result of an attack carried out by settlers throwing stones in the "Al-Dawir" area, north of the town of Kafr Qaddum east of Qalqilya.
Local sources reported that a number of settlers suddenly attacked the citizens with stones while they were in the area located between the town of Beit Lid east of Tulkarm and the town of Kafr Qaddum east of Qalqilya, known as "Al-Dawir," where they have been protesting for the 23rd consecutive day against a colonial plan to establish a settlement outpost there.
The sources confirmed that the attack resulted in two citizens being injured in the head, and they were transferred to the Rafidia governmental hospital in Nablus for treatment.
Additionally, occupation forces stormed the village of Husan west of Bethlehem and raided homes belonging to some former detainees.
Local sources stated that the occupation forces stormed Husan, established a presence in several neighborhoods, and raided and searched homes belonging to individuals such as Jamal Jaber Hammamrah, Jamal Nimer Hammamrah, Othman Ibrahim Z'oul, and Naim Ameera, with no arrests reported.
Moreover, other forces raided the town of Tekoua southeast of Bethlehem.
A local source reported that the occupation forces invaded Tekoua and established a presence in the center of the town, firing tear gas, sound grenades, and toxic gas without any reported injuries.
In related news, settlers established a new colonial outpost in the northern Jordan Valley.
Local sources indicated that a number of settlers set up a makeshift shelter near the tents of citizens in the Hamamat al-Malih area, amid fears that it could be the seed for a new colonial outpost.
Settlers in the northern Jordan Valley maintain more than 8 colonial outposts through which they seize tens of thousands of dunams.
