European Official to "SadaNews": Israel Does Not Respect Human Rights Standards and Settlers Must Be Held Accountable
SadaNews - Nir Satori, Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Rights in the European Parliament, said in a special interview with "SadaNews" that human rights standards are not being respected in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially in Gaza, due to Israeli violations.
He added that children in Gaza are hungry, do not attend schools, and patients do not receive the necessary treatment due to a shortage of medical supplies and medications.
He warned about settler attacks in the West Bank, stating that these attacks are not being stopped.
He explained that some of these settlers hold European citizenship, which necessitates European courts to prosecute and hold them accountable, especially if they visit any of these countries.
