Fatah Movement in Britain Welcomes Central Committee Member Muhammad Shtayyeh
SadaNews - The Palestinian National Liberation Movement, Fatah, in the United Kingdom, welcomed yesterday Muhammad Shtayyeh, the former Palestinian Prime Minister and member of Fatah's Central Committee, during an official meeting held in the capital London, attended by the leadership and cadres of the movement, and in the presence of Dr. Nihad Khnefer, the head of the Palestinian community in Britain.
For his part, the Secretary of the Fatah Movement in Britain, brother Muhammad Urshid, expressed his warm welcome to Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, affirming the importance of this visit in enhancing organizational communication, discussing current national and political developments, and deepening the connection between the movement's bases abroad and its central leadership. Urshid emphasized the commitment of Fatah’s cadres in Britain to support national efforts and to strengthen the movement's presence in the European arena.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance national and organizational work and intensify political and popular efforts to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, emphasizing the role of the movement’s cadres abroad in serving the Palestinian cause.
Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh expressed his appreciation for the efforts and national commitment of Fatah's cadres in Britain, commending the vital role the movement plays in enhancing Palestinian presence on the international stage.
At the end of the meeting, both parties affirmed the necessity of continuing coordination and joint work to enhance national unity and serve the supreme interests of our Palestinian people.
