US Secretary of War Announces Launch of "Southern Spear" Operation Against Drug Traffickers
SadaNews - On Thursday - Friday, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced the launch of the "Southern Spear" operation against drug traffickers, emphasizing that the Western Hemisphere is America's neighborhood and "we will protect it from drug cartels."
Hegseth stated in a post on his "X" platform account: "President Trump has ordered action, and the Department of War is implementing that. The Southern Spear operation is announced today."
The US Secretary of War added that the Southern Spear operation "will defend our homeland and keep drug terrorists away from the hemisphere, securing our nation from the drugs that kill our people. The Western Hemisphere is America's neighborhood, and we will protect it."
