Political Consultation Session Between the State of Palestine and the Republic of Turkey in Ankara

SadaNews - A political consultation session was held in the Turkish capital Ankara on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, between the State of Palestine and the Republic of Turkey at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Palestinian side was chaired by His Excellency Ambassador Adel Atiyah, Director of the General Administration of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Nasri Abu Geish, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Turkey, along with several officials from the Palestinian embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The session addressed a comprehensive political overview of the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and regional developments, in addition to discussing ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and the prospects for joint cooperation in political, economic, educational, and cultural fields.

On the sidelines of the consultation session, bilateral meetings were held with: His Excellency Ambassador Nuh Yilmaz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, His Excellency Ambassador Muhammad Kamal Bozay, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Union Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Cüneyt Yüksel, Chairman of the Justice Committee in the Turkish Parliament, as well as meetings with the Statistical and Economic and Social Research Foundation of Islamic Countries (SESRIC), the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), and the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB).

During the meetings, ways to develop bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest and to enhance coordination between the two sides on regional and international issues were discussed.
