Ambassador Leith Arfa briefs German Green Party leader Franziska Brantner on the latest developments in Palestine
SadaNews - The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Federal Republic of Germany, Leith Arfa, met with the leader of the German Green Party and member of the federal parliament, Franziska Brantner, at the party's headquarters in the capital, Berlin.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest political and field developments in Palestine, ways to enhance bilateral relations, as well as Germany's role in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, primarily their right to freedom in their independent state in accordance with international legitimacy and within the framework of the two-state solution.
Ambassador Arfa emphasized the importance of German recognition of the State of Palestine as a necessary step towards achieving just and lasting peace, commending the positions of some members of the Green Party supportive of Palestinian rights.
