Trump: The United States Will Boycott the "G20 Summit" in South Africa

SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States will boycott the G20 summit that will take place in South Africa, reiterating his claims regarding the treatment of white farmers.

Trump wrote on his platform "Truth Social": "Afrikaners 'people descended from Dutch settlers, as well as French and German immigrants' are being killed and slaughtered, and their lands and farms are being illegally seized."

He added: "No U.S. government official will attend the G20 summit in South Africa as long as these human rights violations continue."

The U.S. President concluded his post by saying, "I look forward to hosting the G20 summit in 2026 in Miami, Florida!".

Trump had previously announced that he would not participate in the summit scheduled to be held in South Africa on November 22 and 23, where Vice President JD Vance was supposed to represent the United States. However, a source familiar with Vance's arrangements confirmed to the Associated Press that he will not travel to South Africa to attend the summit.

In May, Trump presented materials and documents from newspapers he claimed prove violence against white farmers in this African republic during his meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa at the White House.

For his part, Ramaphosa questioned where these clips were filmed, confirming that he "has not seen this before, and there is no policy in the country aimed at violating the rights of white farmers in South Africa."

Earlier, the South African President confirmed that the claim that whites are being persecuted in his country is "completely false narrative."
