Hebrew Channel: America Will Prevent Israel from Carrying Out Certain Attacks in Gaza

Translation by SadaNews - The Hebrew Channel Reshet Kan reported this Tuesday evening that senior Israeli officials acknowledged that the U.S. forces at the command and coordination site established in Kiryat Gat will closely monitor every operation carried out in Gaza, and they will have the authority to approve or prevent it if necessary.

The channel quoted an Israeli official who was present at the command center today, as SadaNews translated, stating that it resembles a mandate state where nothing moves in Gaza without American knowledge, and approval must be obtained to ensure the continuation of the ceasefire, allowing them to prevent certain operations.

It continued: Approximately 200 American soldiers are working at the command center, in addition to other forces, including representatives from Jordan, the UAE, Egypt, Britain, Canada, Denmark, and other countries.

In another report, the channel mentioned that there are disagreements between the United States, Israel, and Egypt, which emerged during meetings held by the Egyptian intelligence chief with Israeli officials, coinciding with the arrival of the U.S. vice president in Israel.

It stated: While the Americans wish to commence the second phase of the Trump plan, the Egyptians want to introduce foreign forces into the sector in the coming days, while Israel opposes this step at this stage, claiming that Hamas can return more of the prisoners' bodies without external assistance.

It pointed out that security officials in Israel told the Egyptian intelligence chief that Hamas is deliberately stalling and that all the prisoners' bodies in its possession should be returned before proceeding to the second phase.

It noted that simultaneously, a list of countries desiring to send soldiers to Gaza as part of an international - Arab force to maintain the ceasefire is beginning to take shape: Egypt, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, and the UAE, while Morocco remains hesitant and is being pressured by the United States, while Israel is cautious of Turkey.

This Thursday, the U.S. vice president will meet with Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, and the final word may ultimately also rest with the Americans in this case.
