Attacks by Settlers in Various Areas of the West Bank

SadaNews - Settlers attacked olive pickers this morning, Friday, in the villages of Qabalan and Qusra south of Nablus, while the Israeli occupation army attacked citizens in the village of Aqaba and prevented them from picking olives.

Local sources reported that a number of settlers attacked olive pickers in the towns of Qusra and Qabalan south of Nablus.

The sources added that occupation soldiers stormed the entrance of Aqaba south of Nablus, firing sound bombs and toxic gas at the olive pickers, preventing them from continuing their harvesting operations.

Villages in Nablus Governorate are subjected to repeated daily attacks by settlers and occupation soldiers, which hinder the olive picking operations in their lands.

During the annual olive picking season, Palestinian lands are subjected to repeated attacks by settlers and the occupation army, as farmers constantly face assaults and violations that prevent them from accessing their lands, leading to significant material losses and increasing their daily suffering under the weight of occupation.

Settlers also attacked a family last night in the village of Aqaba, east of Tubas Governorate.

Mutaz Bisharat, head of the Jordan Valley file in Tubas Governorate, reported that a number of settlers attacked the home of citizen Daif Allah Al-Fuqeer in the village of Aqaba and assaulted his family, resulting in one of his sons suffering from bruises.

Since October 7, 2023, settlers have carried out a total of 7,154 attacks against citizens and their property, resulting in the deaths of 33 citizens in the West Bank.

Furthermore, the attacks by the occupation and its settlers have uprooted, destroyed, and damaged a total of 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
