Despite His Continuous Attacks.. Biden Praises Trump's Role in Halting the Gaza War

Following up on SadaNews - Former U.S. President Joe Biden praised Donald Trump and his administration for their efforts to halt the Gaza war and return captured Israelis to Tel Aviv. This came at a time when Trump continues to attack Biden at every opportunity, describing his administration as the worst in America's history, the latest of which was during his speech at the Israeli Knesset yesterday. 

Biden said, as translated by SadaNews: "I feel a deep sense of gratitude and relief for the arrival of this day, for the last twenty hostages alive who lived through incredible hell, and who have finally reunited with their families and loved ones, and for the civilians in Gaza who have suffered immense losses, and will finally have the chance to rebuild their lives."

He added: "The road to this agreement was not easy. My administration worked tirelessly to bring the hostages home, provide aid to Palestinian civilians, and end the war. I commend President Trump and his team for their efforts to reach a renewed ceasefire agreement."

He continued: "Now, with the support of the United States and the world, the Middle East is on a path to peace that I hope will last, and a future for both Israelis and Palestinians, enjoying equal amounts of peace, dignity, and security."
