Fatah Movement Holds Sweden Regional Conference Under the Supervision of the External Regions Commission

SadaNews - The Palestinian National Liberation Movement "Fatah" - Sweden Region, held its organizational conference today, Saturday, under the name (Martyr Hind Rajab Conference), under the supervision of the Mobilization and Organization Commission for the external regions, with the presence of a delegation from the Revolutionary Council of Fatah Movement, including brothers Taysir Nasrallah and Mohammad Al-Laham, in addition to representatives from the organizational areas and members of the movement from various Swedish cities.

During the conference, the organizational and financial reports were discussed, and the activities of the movement during the previous term were reviewed, alongside discussions on ways to enhance national and popular work among the Palestinian community in Sweden, and to improve the organizational status of the Fatah Movement.

A new leadership for the Sweden Region was elected according to the internal regulations of the movement, amidst a democratic atmosphere and a spirit of unity that embodied the commitment to Fatah's principles and its struggle path, resulting in the election of the new committee composed of: (Hanaa Al-Wazir, Areeb Al-A’loon, Ahmad Hamid, Ahmad Suleiman, Tarek Al-Hafni, Mohammad Hamid, Fadi Al-Maghribi).

In his speech to the conference, the Revolutionary Council delegation emphasized the importance of the role of external regions in supporting the Palestinian political position and communicating with friendly parties and forces in Europe, praising the organizational efforts exerted by the movement's cadres in the Swedish arena.

The conference concluded its activities by emphasizing commitment to Palestinian national constants, supporting the Palestinian people's struggle against occupation, and continuing to work to strengthen national and social ties among the Palestinian community in Sweden.
