
Police: 22,000 Travelers Crossed the Karama Crossing
SadaNews - More than 22,000 citizens and visitors crossed the Karama crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 57 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departures during the week was (11,164) persons, while the number of incoming travelers was (11,325) persons, indicating that the movement of passengers was moderate.
During the same period, the police arrested (57) individuals wanted by the judiciary and banned from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or while awaiting their arrival when entering Palestinian territories. They are wanted in cases pending before courts and the public prosecution.
The police, along with all security and civil agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders, provided several facilitation and services to all citizens, including coordination for (4) medical cases for travel between both sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances.
