Arrest of a Drug Trafficker in Ramallah After Years of Pursuit
SadaNews - The Anti-Drug Police in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, with support from the Special Police and the Judicial Police, managed early this Tuesday morning to arrest one of the drug traffickers who has been wanted for several years on various charges.
The raid came after precise intelligence monitoring, where his house was stormed and searched in accordance with legal procedures. During the operation, 1.5 kilograms of suspected manufactured cannabis was seized, packaged in bags prepared for sale and promotion, along with 300 pills of ecstasy and a quantity of Lyrica pills, in addition to a firearm (pistol).
The seized items and the suspect have been kept for further legal procedures against him according to the regulations.
The police confirmed that they are proceeding with their efforts to dismantle the remaining networks of drug traffickers and are working resolutely against them to protect our children from this destructive scourge.
