Oman Welcomes French President's Announcement of Recognition of the Palestinian State
SadaNews - Oman welcomed the announcement by the President of France recognizing the Palestinian state, during the proceedings of the international conference for resolving the Palestinian issue through peaceful means and implementing the two-state solution held in New York.
Oman affirmed in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, Tuesday, that this development represents an encouraging additional step on the path to achieving rights and justice for the Palestinian brotherly people, expressing hope that all countries of the world will follow the lead of the vast majority of the international community in upholding the two-state solution in accordance with international law and United Nations resolutions.
