Intensive Airstrikes and Destructive Explosions: The Occupation Expands Its Operations in Gaza City
SadaNews - Israeli occupation warplanes continue to carry out intensive airstrikes on Gaza City for several days, peaking last night, and still ongoing. This military escalation is accompanied by an expansion of systematic destruction operations, targeting residential buildings and demolishing them, in an attempt to push residents towards forced displacement southward.
The toll of martyrs and injured continues to rise due to air and artillery bombardments hitting various areas of the Gaza Strip, especially in the city. Since dawn, the number of martyrs has increased to more than 40, in addition to dozens of injured.
Occupation forces detonated five armored vehicles loaded with tons of explosives, aiming to destroy citizens' homes in the southern region of Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, resulting in widespread destruction of residential infrastructure.
The southern neighborhoods of Gaza City are witnessing continuous and violent airstrikes, exacerbating the suffering of residents and worsening the humanitarian crisis.
The World Food Program has warned that the forced evacuations from Gaza City are depleting what remains of Palestinian families' resources, placing them in unprecedented existential challenges.
