Widespread Arab Condemnations of the Israeli Attack on Qatar

SadaNews - Arab and Islamic countries condemned today, Tuesday, the Israeli bombing of Qatar that targeted leaders of Hamas.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, condemned in the strongest terms the blatant and cowardly Israeli aggression against Qatar, emphasizing that this reckless attack constitutes a flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty, a serious assault on international law and the United Nations Charter, and an irresponsible escalation that threatens regional and international security and stability, according to his statement.

Al Nahyan expressed the UAE's full solidarity with Qatar and its steadfast support for all measures that would protect its security and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory. He also stressed the necessity of an immediate halt to military escalation, warning that the continuation of such provocative acts could undermine regional security and drag the region into dangerous paths that would have catastrophic implications for international peace and security.

Al Nahyan urged the international community, particularly the Security Council, to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities to deter Israel and stop these barbaric Israeli aggressions, affirming that the continuation of this aggressive approach reflects reckless behavior that would push the region towards more tension and escalation and undermine the chances of achieving security and stability.

He warned that the persistence in such reckless attacks, in the absence of a decisive and deterring international stance, would have extremely serious repercussions on regional and international peace and security, and would cement a reality that cannot be tolerated or accepted.

For its part, Saudi Arabia condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the brutal Israeli aggression and the flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty, reaffirming its full solidarity and support for Qatar, and placing all its capabilities at its disposal to assist it in any measures it takes, while warning of the dire consequences of the continued Israeli occupation's criminal violations and its blatant departure from international law and all international norms.

Saudi Arabia called on the international community to condemn this heinous aggression and to put an end to the Israeli violations that undermine the security and stability of the region.

Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, confirmed that his country is placing all its resources to support Qatar, and whatever measures it takes to protect its security and maintain its sovereignty.

This came in a phone call made by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, on Tuesday, during which he confirmed his country's total support for Qatar and its condemnation of the blatant Israeli attack on Doha, deeming it a criminal act and a flagrant violation of international laws and norms.

Meanwhile, Jordan's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, condemned in the strongest terms the cowardly Israeli aggression against the brotherly state of Qatar, which is a blatant violation of international law and a serious threat to the security of the Qatari people and residents in Qatar, and an extension of the brutal Israeli aggression that threatens the security and stability of the region.

Safadi stated in a post on X that "Our security is one, and we stand with our brothers in Qatar and fully support any steps they take against this aggression to protect their security, stability, and sovereignty."

He continued, "Israel will continue its aggression, its brutal wars, and its violations of international law, and its threats to regional and international security and peace unless the international community, especially the Security Council, takes the necessary steps to deter it and curb its aggression."
