The Ministry of Social Development Confirms the Continuation of Emergency Aid for Gaza Residents Who Have Come for Treatment
SadaNews - The Ministry of Social Development announced the continuation of emergency aid for a group of our people who have come from the Gaza Strip for treatment for nearly two years, and have been blessed by God with recovery, currently residing in a hotel in Ramallah.
The ministry explained in a statement issued today, Tuesday, that the aid includes rental allowances and basic expenses, as a large number of beneficiaries have begun receiving their entitlements and renting alternative apartments. The ministry reiterates its invitation to all patients and their families who are already registered to head to the ministry's headquarters in Ramallah to complete the procedures and receive the allocations.
It indicated that the financial support includes an upfront payment of (4500 shekels) to cover housing costs for three months, at a rate of (1500 shekels per month), confirming its commitment to cover costs for a full year, including the beneficiaries in the national social registry to ensure the sustainability of services.
The ministry emphasized that this aid comes as part of the urgent response plan to support the most affected groups, and that its distribution is carried out according to official approved lists, ensuring fairness, transparency, and that aid reaches those who deserve it.
