Hundreds Participate in Unprecedented Candlelight Vigil in Budapest in Honor of the Souls of Over 20,000 Children Martyred in Gaza

SadaNews - In response to a call from the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Hungary, hundreds participated in an unprecedented candlelight vigil to honor the souls of the children whose lives were stolen in Gaza, with the number exceeding 20,000 martyrs.

The event was marked by high-level diplomatic attendance, with more than 60 ambassadors and official representatives from various countries participating, along with representatives from political parties, civil organizations, and communities.

Dr. Fadi Al-Husseini, Ambassador of the State of Palestine, delivered an emotional speech expressing pain, anger, and hope for freedom and justice. Her Excellency Karima Kabbaj, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco and Dean of Arab and African Ambassadors, also gave a speech of support and solidarity.

In an exceptional humanitarian moment, a seven-year-old Palestinian girl who survived the aggression in Gaza took to the stage to deliver a short message, which carried a great hope.

White balloons and doves were released into the sky as symbols of peace and innocence, and everyone stood for a minute of silence during which they lit candles in a touching scene.

The Embassy of the State of Palestine expressed its deep gratitude to everyone who attended and showed solidarity, affirming that "such moments give us the strength and determination to continue on the path of struggle until we achieve justice, freedom, and dignity."
